What is Korea Science Academy of KAIST?
The Korean Academy of Science and Technology (KAST) is South Korea's highest academy of science and serves as an integrated think-tank for the country's science and technology. To every student that interest in math and science are suitable to apply for this scholarship.

Foreign national middle school students, graduates, or those with equivalent educational background are eligible to apply

Students who possess great interest and potential in mathematics, science, and English communication ability are highly encouraged to apply

Holders of Korean citizenship are NOT eligible
a. After acquiring a foreign citizenship and without holding a dual citizenship with Korea, students who completed both their primary and middle school level education abroad and whose parents hold a foreign nationality are eligible to apply to KSA
b. Applicants who acquired foreign citizenship are required to submit elementary school transcript and graduation certificate.

Fun fact: Xaviera and Bia are siblings. Both of them are the awardees of Korea Science Academy of KAIST. They came to Korea when they were 15 years old to continue their study as a highschool student at Korea Science Academy of KAIST. Bia (the big sister) was just finished her study and graduated from KAIST University and Xaviera (the little sister) also currently studying at KAIST University.
